The amount of misinformation and fear mongering on reproductive health that spreads around unchecked on tiktok is terrifying. Between ACTIVELY discouraging people getting on birth control in favor of “family planning” (you are so not slick, I went to Bible school) and scaring the shit out of people from getting PAP smears?? That’s not even to mention the fear spreading of hormonal therapy for trans folk and the effects. Don’t take medical advice from tiktok please, talk to a doctor, please.
i can't believe the tiktokification of music has led to people saying an album with a one hour runtime is too long
wanna see something that drives me up the walls insane
[id: A trans man lifting his shirt above his head, displaying his chest. His chest is tattooed with the hands of God and Adam from the Michaelangelo painting “The Creation of Adam”, which reach out to each other but don’t quite touch. The tattoo covers the faint scar from the man’s top surgery. end id.]

like oh you're worried about misattribution and image theft huh. you're worried that someone's gonna take the image you made and claim it as their own. or strip away the context and your name. or use it in ways you didn't consent to. boy that sure would suck huh. i bet that would feel really bad. i bet that would be really annoying. i b
the comedy gold gag where someone is asked for something extremely specific, and goes like "god damn it why would I- Do I look like the kind of a guy who would just have 48 ferret harnesses laying around?" and then everyone blankly stares at them because now that you mentioned it, yes, indeed they do. As a matter of fact, that is the most perfect description of this man, one that nobody could have come up with, but which is exact enough for anyone to pick him out of a crowd. The more exact, the better.
And after this pause they'll just give up and groan "ugh, fine. I'll go get the harnesses."
